Who We Are

The Allentown Youth Soccer Club, founded in 1998 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose purpose is to promote, foster and perpetuate the game of soccer for the children of the city of Allentown, Pennsylvania. The program is designed to introduce the Game to the children and develop their athletic skills, promote sportsmanship and foster teamwork. Additionally, we stress academic achievement and physical well being.

Mission

The majority of the activities take place in Allentown.  Our goal is to make the program more accessible by expanding training and matches to the many park facilities located nearer to the downtown area.  Through the generosity of our many sponsors, we are able to provide equipment and training at a nominal fee for recreational and travel team players.

AYSC is organized to develop, promote, and administer the game of soccer, among youth athletes for the benefit and development of all youth as young adults. AYSC is dedicated to providing all participants with a welcoming and safe environment in which each individual’s unique qualities and contributions are valued and respected. AYSC is committed to embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion as organizational values to intentionally create a nurturing and learning environment focused on individuality, celebrating differences and joining together as a community.

The program has been successful, and with the continued support of local government, civic organizations, business enterprises, concerned citizens and the soccer community, we will be able to enjoy sustained growth.
